Sarah Hadland – Official Website

Welcome to the World of Sarah Hadland

Hello and thank you so much for visiting my official website! I’m Sarah Hadland, an actress based in the UK, known for my work across British television, film, voice acting, and theatre. You may know me as Stevie Sutton in the BBC’s much-loved sitcom Miranda, but there’s a lot more I’ve been lucky to be part of — from James Bond to The Job Lot, and plenty of exciting projects in between.

Whether you’re here to explore my career, view recent appearances, or simply say hello — welcome! This space is yours to enjoy.

Who Is Sarah Hadland?

I was born on 20 May 1971 in Hampshire, and raised in Cheshire. I trained at Laine Theatre Arts, a fantastic performing arts school where I studied dance, musical theatre, and acting. That early training gave me a deep love for stage and screen — and after performing in the West End, touring productions, and voiceover studios, my path gradually led to television and film.

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of playing all sorts of roles — comedic, serious, sometimes silly, sometimes heartfelt — but always human.

Notable Work & Career Highlights

Television

  • Miranda (BBC One): Probably my most recognised role — playing Stevie Sutton opposite Miranda Hart was a joy. Fans still quote “Bear with… bear with…” to me in the street!
  • Waterloo Road (BBC): I portrayed Linda Radleigh in this beloved school drama, offering something more grounded and dramatic.
  • The Job Lot (ITV): As Trish, I explored the world of job centres with a comic edge.
  • That Mitchell and Webb Look (BBC): A brilliant sketch show where I worked with a fantastic comedy duo.
  • Still Up (Apple TV+): A recent project that shows where comedy is heading next.

Film

  • Quantum of Solace (2008): Yes — that was me in the James Bond film! I played the British Consulate’s secretary in a small but thrilling scene.
  • Magicians (2007): Another comedy classic with Mitchell and Webb.

Theatre

I’ve appeared in West End musicals, touring productions, and classic plays — from Grease to Shakespeare. Stage acting will always be a big part of my heart.

Voice Work

I’m also a voiceover artist, and have worked on animation, commercials, and audiobooks. I voice characters, narration, and everything in between.
